Acrylic stand

Mimaki Engineering develops and sells printers that enable printing on acrylic.
Print on and cut a sheet of acrylic plate. Creative sheet cutting allows you to fabricate your original
self-assembled picture stand perfect for a birthday gift or wedding decor piece.

Use as a wedding souvenir or welcome space decoration.
Present the picture you have painted in 3D!

Instructions

STEP 1

  • Create pieces of color data.
  • Create the white-version data according to the color data.
  • Create the cut data.

STEP 2

  • With the protective film on, cut an acrylic sheet with a laser cutter.

STEP 3

  • Peel off the protective film on the back.
  • Flip the acrylic sheet and set it to the printer.
  • Print the inverted data in the order of color data and white data.

STEP 4

  • Assemble the parts.
  • Finish!

It is also recommended to print a pattern on the outside of the parts and give the unassembled stand as a gift.
